Billing & Plans

Plans, seats and feature gating

How Kudu's per-seat plans work: all 11 apps on every plan, with capacity caps instead of locked apps.

Billing & Plans

Kudu is billed per seat on a monthly or annual plan — never per module or per app.

Every plan opens all 11 apps

Plans differ by how much you can create, not by which apps you can open. A Starter workspace can run DealBase, PitchPro, PaySync, RFP Assistant, Roadmap, BugSquash, SpenSync, Assets, Commissions, PriorityHub, Reviews, Capacity, Goals and Support — just at a smaller volume.

Tiers

  • Starter — free, all apps, small capacity caps
  • Team — uncapped volume, collaboration features, integrations
  • Pro — advanced automation, custom branding, webhooks
  • Business — SAML SSO, long audit retention, priority support with SLA

14-day Team trial

Every new workspace starts on Team capacity for 14 days, no credit card required. When the trial ends the workspace moves to Starter with all data intact and fully editable — nothing is locked away or deleted.

Capacity caps on Starter

Starter caps only the creation of new records:

AppStarter cap
DealBase3 open deals
PitchPro2 active proposals

Commissions3 records
PriorityHub10 ideas

Supportunlimited

Team, Pro and Business have no caps on these counters.

Feature gating

A few capabilities are still plan-specific (custom branding, API keys, SAML SSO, RFP auto-draft). Those screens stay visible with an upgrade prompt so you can always see what a higher plan unlocks.

Managing billing

  • Update your plan or seat count under Settings → Billing.
  • The Plan usage card there lists every counter with a progress bar.
  • Invoices and receipts are emailed to your billing contact and available in-app.
