Sending & tracking

Send proposals, track opens and views, and get notified when clients engage.

Sending & tracking

Sending a proposal

  1. Click Send on the proposal editor.
  2. Add one or more recipients — name and email.
  3. Optional: personal intro message.
  4. Kudu emails each recipient a unique magic link to the share page.

Each recipient gets their own token so you can see who viewed and who signed.

Timeline events

Under the Activity tab on any proposal:

  • sent — email queued and delivered
  • opened — recipient opened the email
  • viewed — recipient loaded the share page
  • signed / accepted — recipient signed & accepted
  • declined — recipient declined with a reason
  • expired — passed the expiry date

Notifications

When a recipient views, signs, or declines you get:

  • An in-app notification
  • An email (respecting your notification preferences)
  • A Slack DM if Slack is connected

Resending

Hit Resend to fire a fresh email without duplicating history — each resend gets a unique batch ID so no idempotency locks block delivery.

Deal linking

Every proposal is linked to a deal. Creating a proposal without a deal auto-creates one; sending a proposal auto-advances the linked deal to your Proposal stage.
