Usage meters and upgrade prompts

Where to see how much of your plan you have used, and what happens when you reach a cap.

Usage meters and upgrade prompts

Kudu never shows an "access denied" wall for capacity. Instead you always see how much of your plan you have used, and what upgrading unlocks.

Usage chips in app headers

On capped plans (Starter, or a workspace whose trial has ended) a small usage chip appears in the header of DealBase, PitchPro, PaySync, Assets, BugSquash, Reviews, Goals, SpenSync, PriorityHub, Roadmap and Capacity — for example "2 of 3 open deals used". Click the chip to see a Starter vs Team comparison.

Paid and trialling workspaces do not see these chips.

When you reach a cap

Creating a new record at 100% opens an upgrade dialog naming the exact limit you hit and what Team unlocks, instead of an error message. Existing records stay fully editable, exportable and shareable — caps only apply to creating new ones.

Connected-workflow prompts

Kudu's biggest advantage is that the apps talk to each other: a deal becomes a proposal, and an accepted proposal becomes an invoice. On a deal page and inside a proposal you will see the DealBase → PitchPro → PaySync chain with your usage at each step, highlighting the step you have filled up.

Plan usage in Settings

Settings → Billing has a Plan usage card listing every counter with a progress bar, plus your trial countdown while the 14-day Team trial is running.

Trial reminders

Banners appear on day 8 and day 13 of the trial, and Billing shows "Team trial — X days left" with an upgrade button.
