Importing an RFP document

Supported file types, size limits, and how the monthly upload allowance works.

Import

  1. Go to PitchPro β†’ RFP Assistant.
  2. Click Import RFP Document.
  3. Give the RFP a title, choose the file and confirm.

Extraction runs in the background. The document shows as processing, then ready with an extraction score, or failed if the file could not be read.

Supported files

Text-bearing PDF and Word documents. A scanned image-only PDF has no extractable text β€” run it through OCR first, or paste the requirements in manually.

Upload allowance

Each workspace has a monthly RFP upload allowance based on its plan; the meter at the top of the RFP Assistant page shows uploads used against the limit. When you hit the limit the Import RFP Document button is disabled and a link to upgrade appears. The counter resets at the start of each month.

If extraction is poor

A low extraction score usually means the source formatting is unusual (heavy tables, multi-column layouts). You can still edit, add and delete rules by hand in the compliance matrix.
